Faysel Yonis

Ethiopia

The small family farms are located around Gigesa in the Danbi Uddo community of Shakiso, Guji. Each farmer cultivates approximately two to five hectares at elevations between 1,850 and 2,100 meters. The high elevation and cool growing conditions allow the local Ethiopian heirloom coffee cherries to mature slowly, developing floral aromas, natural sweetness and bright, complex acidity.
